Account and Data Deletion
Effective: September 30, 2026
TrustCheck Radar is operated by AndMoreThings Labs LLC. You can request deletion of your account and associated data without keeping the app installed or maintaining a paid subscription.
1. Request account deletion
Where the in-app control is enabled, use Settings → Account → Delete account and follow the authentication and confirmation steps. Availability depends on the released version. An unavailable in-app control does not remove the email request option.
Email privacy@andmorethings.com with the subject “TrustCheck Radar account deletion.” Prefer the email associated with your account and state that you want the account deleted. If you cannot access that email, explain that you need help verifying ownership. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment card details, purchase tokens or copies of suspicious messages.
This is a request to our privacy contact, not an instant automated deletion form. The approved procedure sends a separate deletion-confirmation request to the verified email address already stored on the account. The sender address alone does not authorize deletion. An authorized operator may initiate deletion only after ownership and explicit deletion intent have been verified. If you cannot access that address, a separately reviewed recovery procedure is needed. If verification cannot be completed, we will explain the available next steps without treating the request as authorization to delete an account.
2. What deletion does
Accepted deletion blocks further protected account use and starts cleanup of account/profile information, device bindings, owned History and progress, result/usage records, still-linkable research data and our recoverable purchase token. Identity removal follows the required cleanup confirmations. Acceptance is distinct from completed server erasure.
When the Android app receives and validates confirmed acceptance for that account, it clears that account's local drafts, queued submissions, History, progress/rewards, entitlement cache, receipts and research state, cancels its jobs and signs out the matching session. Other accounts and shared settings are preserved. An offline or uninstalled app cannot immediately clear local files in response to an email or server-side request; app cleanup occurs when the app can safely observe the matching acceptance. Uninstalling and saved files have separate operating-system behavior. If a request's outcome is unknown, a minimal encrypted operation identifier can remain locally for reconciliation; it does not contain the original submitted content or credentials.
3. What can remain
Minimal security, deletion-suppression and consent evidence can remain to prevent replay, prove choices and safely handle recovered copies. The approved deletion-receipt interval is 120 days, but suppression records are not automatically removed while recoverable copies could recreate deleted data. Consent audit evidence can last 400 days. Operational logs use a 14-day limit in the reviewed configuration.
A minimal purchase-linked usage record can remain until the verified access end plus seven days so restoring the same paid period does not reset used checks. It contains no deleted account ID, purchase token, message or URL. Recovery copies can retain earlier data up to 35 additional days; some stores have seven-day windows or no configured recovery copy. Finalized aggregate research results, if created under valid permission and no longer containing individual contributions, may remain up to their 400-day limit. See the privacy policy for the distinct data classes and limits.
We cannot remove files you saved outside the app, another person's copies, or independent records held by Google Play and other providers merely by deleting your app account. Applicable legal preservation requirements may also affect a request.
4. Export and subscriptions
Finish any available export before asking to delete your account. Deletion stops unfinished exports. Keep downloaded files secure and delete them yourself if you no longer need them.
Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Google Play subscriptions. Any restoration to a new account requires fresh store verification and ownership checks; it does not restore deleted app data or reset paid-period usage.
5. Questions and progress
Contact privacy@andmorethings.com for deletion or privacy questions. We may need limited information to verify ownership; do not send credentials. Our initial response target is to acknowledge your request and begin verification within five business days. This is not a promise that account deletion will be complete within five business days. We distinguish a received request, verified authorization, accepted deletion, cleanup still in progress and confirmed completion. We will identify any unresolved provider or retained-copy limits rather than describe them as erased.
